Growing demand requires the continuing the expansion of our Life Sciences (LS) team in the USA where we have been consulting to Pharmaceutical and Biotech firms since 1996. Our office is in mid-town Manhattan – our staff live across the country with a concentration in the NE and the LA and Bay Areas.
Our target clients are the Top 100 Pharmaceutical companies, leading Biotech’s, Agrochemicals, Medical Devices and Generic manufacturing companies. Our impressive client list includes 18 of the Top 20 Pharmaco’s and we facilitate a benchmark forum in Drug Safety whose members include 15 leading Pharmaceutical companies.
Current assignments focus on enhancing performance in a range of regulated business activities, including:
- Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management
- Clinical Development, Study Management and Clinical Trials Supplies
- Manufacturing/Supply Chain with integration of QA/QC and compliance
Key to our success with clients is our knowledge of their type of environment and our ability to work with them to implement operational improvements which reduce complexity and improve compliance to deliver substantial business benefits to our clients.
We are looking for a dynamic, business savvy individual with strong supply chain, business process improvement and business development skills in the Life Sciences Industry.
You will have the opportunity to take on a group of blue chip clients and grow them into multi-million dollar clients.
You must have a clearly demonstrable track record in selling and managing the implementation of business improvement initiatives within the Life Sciences sector. (At least 5 years with a reputable consulting firm)
You will be required to –
§ utilize your experience and network to build revenues
§ leverage WCI’s existing relationships
§ become an integral part of the US leadership team and through this leadership increase WCI’s share of the US consulting market.
Your background is likely to include proven experience in –
- Selling, managing and delivering client engagements
- business process analysis and design from first principles
- supply chain and manufacturing within the Pharma sector
- QA & QC
- delivering technology solutions that meet client’s business needs
- managing the change process
- program management
- key client development
- business development
Your experience is likely to include –
§ At least 5 years consulting experience focused in the life science sector
§ An outstanding track record of achieving and exceeding annual objectives, within the consulting industry.
§ At least 8 years experience managing complex business consulting projects. Applied experience in translating key client issues into deliverable designs.
§ A proven track record with consistent growth in sales in the recent past.
§ Outstanding leadership qualities.
A proven track record of developing successful relationships at senior executive and board level.
If successful you will have responsibility for the top line and assignment profitability within a group of clients. You will enjoy a great deal of independence within a strategic framework. You will have (and help us grow) a team of Managing Consultants and Senior Consultants to support you in assignment delivery.
Dedicated team players with practical implementation skills and a willingness to travel who meet the above requirements are invited to apply – relocation will not be necessary.
