WCI Consulting Limited Management Board
Jon Tims
|
Jon joined WCI as Finance Director in October 1996. He is responsible for the provision of financial direction and information, agreement of client and supplier commercial terms and for all aspects of the back office including finance, HR, IT, insurance, share option scheme and company secretarial duties. Whilst with WCI, Jon has been responsible for agreeing the commercial terms of any corporate restructures, acquisitions and disposals and has built up a wealth of experience in working with solicitors, banks and venture partners on corporate transactions of this nature.
Prior to joining WCI, Jon spent 11 years as finance director of a value added reseller in the computing industry. During this period, as well as running the finance and commercial departments, Jon was involved in a number of acquisitions and disposals as well as being one of the main parties in an MBO and a corporate restructuring.

Chris Holmes

Chris has been with WCI for over 15 years and leads the European Practice. He is an experienced business consultant in the European pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry, and brings leadership, sales, and delivery expertise to global product safety, compliance, and performance programmes.
Chris established WCI's two industry forums, pvnet® and pvconnect® which comprise of over 50 leading life science organisations. The forums monitor performance and compliance, establish best practices, and develop the future of drug safety in response to changing regulatory requirements.
Prior to working in the Life Sciences practice, Chris managed consulting engagements in UK Healthcare, including advising on improvements to patient care and waiting times for a number of NHS Trusts. Chris has a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies

Mike Giffin

Mike joined WCI in 2001 after seven years with Gemini Consulting. For the past sixteen years Mike has focused on the Life Science sector, but also has experience in the FMCG, Financial Services, Energy, and Retail sectors.
His role involves the management of key accounts, and the design and implementation of complex change programmes. He has designed, sold, and led engagements in Europe, the USA, Latam, and Asia. The scope of these engagements has covered Clinical Development, Sales and Marketing, Technical Operations, and Safety.
Prior to consulting, Mike spent seven years as an officer in the British Army. He was a member of the Airborne Artillery and served in Northern Ireland, Belize, Hong Kong, Australia, and Germany. Mike has a BSc in Psychology from University College London, and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
