The Situation
Croydon Primary Care Trust is a provider of shared services to the local NHS community.  The Single Assessment Programme (SAP) required integration of data from multiple systems to improve the patients' experience and provide joined up patient records between Croydon PCT and Social Services.  Patient data and information would need to be extracted and integrated from multiple systems and from multiple locations in a safe and controlled manner.

The Solution
WCI was chosen as Croydon's integration partner for the project, bringing experience of healthcare integration, process improvements and Microsoft technologies.  The project was completed over a phased span of eight weeks starting with project plans, introduction of an integration hub and spoke architecture, through testing to handover.  The choice of Microsoft technology was a natural extension to the strategy of the organisation, providing familiar interfacing and essential scalability for future development plans and system support...
